Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the operation of intervention vehicles.
- Intervene immediately, in accordance with the techniques of the trade on the initiative and/or under the guidance of a manager, in the event of a claim.
- Ensure the maintenance of intervention equipment and equipment.
- Monitor hazardous work, confined space.
- Attend periodic tests of fire-fighting systems.
- Participate in training and periodic simulation exercises.
- Perform gas detection.
- Apply HSE rules and instructions.
- Strictly respects HSE procedures rules and instructions.
- Carry out maintenance of mobile and fixed means of intervention.
- Master all drills on mobile and fixed means of intervention.
- Transmit the know-how to the intervention agents.
- Participate in all real and simulated intervention drills.
- Follow and participate in exercises and on-site training cycles.
- Standing to intervene at any time of his presence on site.
- Provide reporting, can report directly to the Head of Intervention.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety Intervention, Fire Engineering, Fire Science.
- Notions on the dangers of electric current,
- Knowledge of the risks of chemical products,
- Notions on the resistance of materials.
- Knowledge of the risks related to the production activity.
- HSE regulations and standards.
- Experience with Firefighting Team or Intervention Team is mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in firefighting operations.
- Knowledge of local regulations, international standards, and industry best practices related to fire safety and emergency respons.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety.
- Excellence in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a must.
