Job Description


  • Assist in managing individual well integrity programs.
  • Provide inputs for monthly management reports.
  • Approve well integrity proposals and prepare detailed method statements for different well types for preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure correct classification of well integrity anomalies and define necessary actions, responsible parties, and target closure dates.
  • Maintain a list and track current dispensations for the asset and initiate new well integrity dispensations when necessary.
  • Initiate and participate in risk assessments related to well integrity issues.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per procedure, ensuring protective barriers are in place.
  • Conduct shut-in well reviews for long-term shut-in wells.
  • Review plans with operation planner and integrity team to ensure job execution follows the agreed plan.
  • Establish and maintain effective well records, including defining safe operating envelopes for all wells.
  • Implement and update well integrity documentation such as WIMS (Well Integrity Management System) and testing procedures.
  • Provide technical support to the EP intervention team on well integrity evaluation and problem identification.
  • Review submitted reports and approve recommendations for corrective maintenance.
  • Review acquired tubing calipers and advise on required actions or adjustments.
  • Provide technical support to site execution units and follow up on remedial well integrity issues.
  • Prepare derogations to company rules for continued well operation.
  • Act as the focal point for issuing MOC (Management of Change) and for well integrity decision-making committee.
  • Apply new techniques and technologies to reduce workover costs and improve well delivery quality.
  • Identify and modify all materials and equipment needed for well integrity work.
  • Monitor daily well integrity cost expenditure, review monthly VOWD (Value of Work Done), and annual budgets.
  • Review and approve all well integrity invoices.
  • Provide well integrity discipline support during risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company HSE standards.
  • Undertake training and coaching of EP engineers as directed by management.
  • Perform site inspections and audits to confirm compliance and ensure closure of all actions.
  • Supervise workover activities and coordinate with the team.
  • Plan and coordinate daily tasks of technicians.
  • Prepare equipment and teams for tasks.
  • Coordinate between different teams and departments.
  • Ensure on-site safety and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Plan and manage workover budgets.
  • Provide logistics support.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

  • University graduate engineer in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Production/Drilling).
  • Minimum of 10 years of successful industry experience within drilling and well services.
  • Good knowledge of well construction, reservoir behavior, and production operations.
  • Detail-oriented and prompt with tasks.
  • Ability to effectively manage risks.
  • Proficient in oral and written English.
  • Hold a valid Well Control Certificate at Supervisory Level 4.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
