Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Site Representation:
    • Act as the authorized site representative of the company, interfacing with authorities, clients, owners, consultants, and subcontractors. Make decisions with significant impact on the project in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Safety Management:
    • Oversee all safety-related matters at the assigned project site in coordination with the Site Safety Advisor.
  • Communication Management:
    • Serve as the primary channel of communication between the site and head offices, managing memos, documents, equipment requests, and other site-related resources.
  • Document Management:
    • Ensure availability and proper handling of essential project documents, including:
      • Latest client-approved Project Schedule
      • Approved Engineering Design Drawings
      • Contract-specific local/international standards and project specifications
      • Project Contract
      • IMS documents (Policy, Manual, Work Instructions, Procedures, Controlled Forms/Templates) and approved project-specific Quality and EHS Plans
      • NOCs, permits from relevant authorities, and method statements
  • Mail and Plan Management:
    • Adapt and manage the classification and distribution of mail and site plans received from consultants and clients.

Candidate Requirements :

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in a site management role or similar, with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with various stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and resources effectively.
    • Proficient in coordinating with safety advisors and handling site safety issues.
  • Knowledge:
    • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and construction site requirements.
    • Familiarity with project documentation, including engineering drawings, standards, and contracts.
  • Education:
    • Relevant degree or certification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Competencies:
    • Ability to make impactful decisions in collaboration with project managers.
    • Strong attention to detail in managing and adapting document and mail handling processes.
