Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that new designs and development are implement in a such manner that future operations will be performed in a safe manner, minimizing impact in the environment and cost effective. Facilities should be reliable and able to be maintained and inspected
- To review all process and flow assurance studies in order to ensure that design is fit for purpose and in line with Project objectives
- Provide support to challenge the FEED Contractors in the Value engineering exercise. Promote alternatives design to reduce cost, works and schedule
- To prepare and start to implement with affiliate Operations teams all future means for the field exploitation (human, resources, equipment, contracts)
- Timely review and comment engineering documents; liaise with other engineering specialist(s), and entity (affiliate Operations, head quarter, etc) as required
- Modify and update key Operations documents like (but not limited) Operation Philosophy, Maintenance and Inspection Philosophy, Plant Availability Study, OPEX update, etc.
- Prepare all the audits and reviews related to Operations discipline
- be involved in activities regarding the OPPS / HIPPS Dossier (if required)
- Provide Operational inputs, based in TotalEnergies referential, good practices and pragmatical approach to Safety Engineering studies.
- Prepare Commissioning during FEED and Lead Commissioning team during commissioning activities.
- Interact in a constructive way with affiliate to minimize impact in facilities already in production and minimize production shortfalls
- Prepare the SIMOPS and define scope for modifications to be done during facilities Shut Down
- Actively participate in site Surveys and information gathering for the Project
- Strong participation during the preparation of the planned Turn Around (only Project related activities)
- To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE requirements.
- Base in Project needs to coordinate activities required with Field Operations entity from affiliate
- To adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and to promote and enforce the Corporate Anti-Corruption Program within the project team
- Engineering follow-up: To control the Contractors’ performance in process discipline and in his perimeter : timely delivery and review of Contractor’s engineering documents, studies and queries through an efficient technical coordination scheme with the Contractors.
- Construction and Start Up: Lead Commissioning activities as a Commissioning Site Leader
- Attend Safety related studies and follow-up
- To identify and deliver all studies and documents (dossiers) related to Field Operations
- To prepare and launch contract with affiliate if required for the next phase (for MIEC for example)
- To ensure that latest digital and carbon footprint reduction initiatives are studied and implemented if possible – To ensure the hand over for the next Project phase
Candidate Requirements:
- Professional Experience (years): >20 years in Oil and Gas projects
- Experience in similar position (years): At least 3 years of experience in similar position during project, relevant site experience in a onshore field and 3 years as a Section Head (Production Manager, Site Manager or equivalent).
- Commissioning background is required
- Level / Diploma: Engineer
- Languages: English mandatory
