Job Description

  • Machinery Oversight: Oversee one or more packages of rotating machinery, including centrifugal pumps, volumetric pumps, compressors, vacuum units, fans, and agitators.
  • Technical Studies: Conduct technical studies and analyses to optimize the performance and efficiency of rotating machinery.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and team members to ensure comprehensive project coverage and seamless integration of rotating machinery.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all machinery design and operations comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records and documentation of machinery specifications, performance metrics, and project progress. Prepare and present technical reports as required.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits as necessary to supervise machinery installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Client Interaction: Interface with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support and solutions.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in rotating machinery design, supervision, and optimization, ideally within the chemical industry.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (BAC+3) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Higher education levels such as a Master’s degree or engineering school background are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for machinery design and analysis. Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations (ISO, API, etc.).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Travel Availability: Willingness to travel within France and Europe as required by project needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in design, documentation, and reporting.
