Job Description

Responsibilities :
  • Monitor contractor activities related to the execution of the TFT II / TFT Sud Contract in EPC.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with technical requirements for Instrumentation / Control / ICSS security systems packages.
  • Actively participate in the technical review of Project documentation developed by the contractor.
  • Verify that ICSS components (Control and Security System) meet group requirements, regulations, and good engineering practices in design, maintainability, operability, and security.
  • Manage interfaces with the production center for upgrading existing systems (DCS / ESD / F & G) and integrate new systems with existing systems after updates.
  • Approve deliverables for the supply and installation package of an integrated metering system (IMS), ensuring compliance with group requirements, regulations, and good engineering practices.
  • Provide technical clarifications in workshops with regulatory agencies, external Project interfaces, and internal engineering disciplines.
  • Participate in technical reviews of the Project, including design, hazard studies, and 3D modeling.
  • Contribute to on-site interventions for interface identification with existing systems.
  • Review and approve Project documentation for the TELECOM part, ensuring integration with the existing TELECOM system.
  • Communicate and apply HSE policies in the design of new installations and modifications.
  • Supervise instrumentation, control system, and telecom studies conducted by the EPC contractor and subcontractors, ensuring timely completion.
  • Ensure technical document compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and project procedures.
  • Review and comment on technical documents from interfacing disciplines (Process, safety, rotating machines) and project procedures, proposing planning and cost optimizations.
  • Contribute to 3D modeling and on-site verifications for modifications.
  • Support constructability studies to define realistic modifications.
  • Ensure the site instrumentation database is updated with new integrated equipment and collaborate on creating a complete database.
  • Interact with specialists, project stakeholders, and authority representatives for technical reviews and assistance.
Candidate Requirements :
  • Engineer specialized in control and security system studies with approximately 15 years of experience in designing onshore industrial sites, particularly revamping.
  • Expertise in implementing Integrated Metering Systems, including production allocation options.
  • Proficiency in instrumentation and telecom.
  • Ability to interact with specialists, local companies manufacturing and installing pipes.
  • Demonstrate proactive behavior, anticipation, and rigor in a multicultural context.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; fluency in French is recommended.
