Job Description


  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and HSSE rules and regulations, ensuring promotion, implementation, and achievement by SURF Package offshore personnel.
  • Stay informed of Company Referential (CR, GS, and GM) and international standards related to the area of responsibility, liaising actively with PBF HSE Lead to track changes in HSE policy and plans and inform about necessary updates.
  • Promote, implement, and achieve the Project HSE Management System by the SURF offshore team, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and TEPA referential for activities on Block 17.
  • Monitor and enforce SURF Package Contractors’ compliance with contractual commitments, proper implementation of offshore HSE Plans, and safe, proper, and timely performance of activities.
  • Implement the Management of Change (MOC) procedure in case of changes during the offshore campaign and advise on HSE matters before granting changes.
  • Conduct routine and random HSE inspections to monitor Contractors’ performance on board the SURF vessels, stop and report any anomalies or unsafe practices, and participate in investigations of significant HSE anomalies, incidents, or accidents.
  • Review and follow up on corrective action plans and ensure adequate and timely reporting to PBF HSE Lead.
  • Participate in daily meetings, toolbox talks, HSE committee meetings, safety tours, Job Safety Assessment (JSA) / Task Risk Assessment (TRA) meetings, and the implementation of Project safety campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all documentation issued under the area of responsibility.

Candidate requirements :

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in Similar Position: Minimum 5 years of experience with project HSE supervision related to SURF.
  • Level/Diploma: Engineer or equivalent.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • HSE: BOSIET, HUET certification required.
