Job Description


  • Conduct observations and monitoring during operations to prevent unsafe conditions and acts, ensuring compliance with HSE procedures and standards.
  • Participate in HSE site meetings and provide regular reporting on HSE activities as requested.
  • Deliver basic HSE training and awareness sessions, contribute to HSE documentation, and support initiatives to promote a safety/environmental culture.
  • Provide assistance and guidance in developing HSE procedures and standards tailored for environmental protection.
  • Advise operational sites on environmental programs and projects, ensuring alignment with HSE directives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor environmental activities, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with international standards and regulations.
  • Review and evaluate environmental regulations, develop compliance programs, and prepare reports and specifications.
  • Attend meetings with environmental stakeholders and authorities to stay updated on environmental issues and regulations.
  • Ensure all personnel perform tasks in an environmentally responsible manner and organize training activities to foster environmental awareness.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in conducting HSE observations and monitoring activities in an industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of HSE procedures, standards, and regulations, with a focus on environmental protection.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to deliver HSE training sessions.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards and environmental auditing processes.
  • Ability to analyze environmental regulations and develop compliance programs.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports, specifications, and databases for environmental activities.
  • Proactive attitude towards environmental stewardship and commitment to fostering a safety/environmental culture within the organization.
  • Previous experience in supporting environmental programs and projects is advantageous.
