Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • From an HSE perspective:
    o Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regards to HSE in accordance to his
    role of the main Company Representative present in Contractor office .
    o Communicate, promote, and apply the HSE policies of the Company and Project
    Technical Referential to Contractor and ensure the engineering is developed accordingly.
  • Main activities:
    o Supports the FPSO and UFR/SPS team overall activities during (pre-) FEED phase to
    ensure availability, operability, maintainability and inspectabiltiy are well taken into
    account in the design.
    o Liaises with TL/FO entities to ensure Field Operations topics are properly reviewed and
    o Participate in technical reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, workshops, ad hoc meeting as
    o Ensure the timely review of the FEED contractor engineering documents from Field
    Operations perspective.
    o Participates to the development of the Field Operations philosophy.
    o Contributes to the Operations Readiness preparations in accordance with the Field
    Operations roadmap.
    o Contributes to the O&M Contract and Exhibits preparation and participate to the
    clarifications phase.

The activity takes place in the context of the pre-FID phase of a major project in Suriname a land of
opportunity, in affiliate being created and whose challenges and scope are currently being defined. The
Suriname GPI is a multidisciplinary team that coordinates the development studies managed by
OneTech on the Deep and Shallow Water discoveries of offshore Suriname Block 58.
The technical challenges the GPI / Project will face are the reservoirs development and management, the
FPSO design and subsea production/injection system definition.
The Suriname GPI / Project team will be developed with the objectives to maximize economical results
by optimizing the reserves, the schedule, reducing the costs and the GreenHouse Gas (GHG) emission,
while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus.

Candidate requirements :

  • Qualification: High experience in Oil & Gas contracts writing, negotiating and managing Confirmed
    Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas operations in deep offshore environment
    with demonstrated skills in main disciplines such as Production, Process, and Safety with proven
    ability to support engineering activities.
  • Naval skills and experience in FPSO engineering & construction is a plus.
  • Languages: English and French
  • Professional Experience: At least 15 years
  • Experience within project: At least 10 years
  • Excellent communication skills, dynamism, high motivation, ability to convince, organized, leadership
    and ability to put issues into perspective.
