Job Description

Responsibilities :

Market Consultation & Contract Negotiation:

  • Organize and execute market consultations for offshore foundations/structures.
  • Prepare tender deliverables.
  • Manage and administer calls for tender.
  • Qualify suppliers.
  • Negotiate contractual terms, conditions, and variations.
  • Present outcomes to management, including memos, presentations, and negotiated contracts for offshore wind foundation fabrication.

Support Procurement Strategy for Offshore Wind Foundations:

  • Consolidate market intelligence for the procurement segment.
  • Gather and analyze supplier intelligence for foundation suppliers.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary workshops with structural engineers, legal experts, and project engineers.
  • Provide deliverables such as memos and presentations.

Project Management:

  • Manage activities with a project-oriented approach to execute within timelines, costs, quality, and sustainability/Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards in an international context.

    Candidate Requirements

    • Educational Background:
      • Graduated from an engineering or business school with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 8-10 years of demonstrated experience in industrial procurement/contracts engineering, ideally in the energy sector.
      • Proven experience in negotiating complex construction contracts.
    • Skills:
      • Strong knowledge of energy-related challenges and industrial construction techniques.
      • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
      • Ability to work cross-functionally and demonstrate flexibility.
      • Proficiency in Power BI is a plus.
      • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with a high degree of rigor.
      • Robust contractual background and skills, with a deep understanding of industrial projects in Oil & Gas or Renewable energies.
      • Strong knowledge of EPC/FIDIC contracts.
      • Experience in contractual and commercial negotiations with industrial equipment manufacturers and major construction project stakeholders.
    • Languages:
      • Fluent in English.
      • Proficiency in French and Chinese is a plus.
