The Senior Craft Supervisor reports to the Craft Area Superintendent and is responsible for coordinating and
supervising craft activities. It may involve supervising one or more Supervisors with trade groups working in a particular
construction discipline (civil, structural, piping).
Review work front, progress, and resource (manpower and materials) deployment against the plan on a daily and weekly basis with the Superintendent and Subcontractors for timely completion of work against schedule.
Identify potential threats to safety, quality and progress of work; recommend mitigating measures to superintendent and site management and follow up for action
Monitors progress of installation/erection works and reports to Construction Superintendent on a daily basis.
Ensure Preparation/implementation of Method Statement, Job hazard analysis, risk assessment and mitigation plan
Checks conformity of all discipline material upon receipt against discipline Specification and ensures that materials are stored and
maintained in adequate conditions. Monitors the management of materials and spare parts.
Skills & Requirements:
Curricula: Cross discipline work experience preferred and technical
knowledge of dscipline Technical Trade
Extensive experience of 3 years and more on construction projects of
mining, petrochemical and chemical projects in similar prosition
