Job Description

The Interface & Change Manager is in charge of: ✓ Preparing, issuing, implementing and monitoring of the Interface Management System of the NG-6J Project; ✓ Developing and implementing the Interface referential of the project (plan, procedures and technical and organizational requirements) and monitoring its implementation, with KPIs objectives; ✓ Presenting and discussing with impacted Entities all potential Project changes impacting external stakeholders of the project, in order to ensure their feedback and due consideration in the approval process; ✓ Participating to the development and implementation of the H3SE culture among the Project; ✓ Monitoring the Interface activities of the EPC Contractor(s) and their subcontractors and vendors; ✓ Providing a single point of contact for information development and exchange between the Project and the interfacing entities, to ensure a common and consistent level of information on all Project aspects (Surface, Sub-Surface and Operations at a minimum); ✓ Ensuring the approved Project Changes are understood and considered by all external stakeholders of the Project, and the details of the implementaiton are well communicated; ✓ Organizing, controlling and following-up the implementation of the interface processes with the different entities in order to timely get all deliverables issued by corresponding contractors and have all interfaces duly and timely closed out; ✓ Organizing regular follow-up and coordination meetings as well as audits on interface systems, to secure the proper and timely implementation of interface resolutions; ✓ Assuring detailed records of interface resolutions are established and maintained in the relevant document agreements and commitments between the interface entities, involving the EPC Contractor and/or the PMT; ✓ Participating in review of Tenders, Contracts and Variations to ensure that adequate interface control and work processes are established; ✓ Coordinating with Engineering group, Construction group and Commissioning group for the preparation and execution of the physical performance of interface points and tie-ins, as per scope of work, schedule, contractual requirements and technical specifications; ✓ Maintaining the Interface Task Register of the project, with the relevant coordination and schedule information; ✓ Managing the Interface Exchange tool (or software) of the project;
Qualifications / Experience required Engineering Degree with 15 years’ experience in major oil&gas onshore projects, with at least 10 years’ experience in Interface position for a major Operator and one experience as Interface Manager in a 1B$+ project. Knowledge of Interface management processes from a major oil&gas Operator would be a plus. Experience in challenging areas (remote, security, logistics) and in joint-venture environment is required. Language: Fluent English (working language), Arabic would be a plus. Location: based in Tripoli, with ability to relocate to any required Project locations. • Strong skills in Organization and Coordination, • Good communication skills (verbal and written) and negotiating skills, • Analytical approach, to evaluate options and present them to the stakeholders and interfacing entities, • Knowledge and/or experience in sub-surface and operations activities, • Methodic, autonomous, organized and pro-active, • Ability to understand Project and Operations constraints and requirements and to define and propose resolutions in a win-win attitude, • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary technical disciplines and multi-cultural teams, • Proven track record of result deliveries in challenging project environments.
