Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all SLV internal and contractual training to achieve optimal performance.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to method statements, strict application of Permit to Work, and client safety rules.
  • Follow hierarchy instructions to ensure the availability of signaling and communication equipment for Line 5.
  • Execute planned and unplanned maintenance promptly to prevent service disruptions.
  • Proactively identify critical issues and communicate them to your leader.
  • Adhere to reporting and configuration change rules and processes using the appropriate tools.
  • Maintain transparency in reporting.
  • Perform work safely and effectively in accordance with relevant regulations and policies, including the Health & Safety at Work Act, Railway Group Standards, and CLIENT Policies and Procedures & Code of Ethics.
  • Accountable for implementing the client policy and customer requirements related to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) by all stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors. Promote Close Call Reporting.

Candidate requirements :

  • 3 years’ experience in maintaining systems such as ATC, ATS, SCADA, IXL, MSS, DCS, TETRA.
  • Previous experience working in multicultural teams.
  • Thorough knowledge of railway products and systems.
  • Proficient in clear reporting.
  • Demonstrates professionalism in way of working.
