Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and monitor all Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server database objects and applications to meet business requirements.
  • Understand design documents and clarify the intended actions of applications to design stable, reliable, and effective databases.
  • Adapt current applications to new requirements as necessary, combine all application elements, and test them.
  • Ensure all database programs meet business and performance requirements.
  • Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.
  • Work as part of a team, sometimes formed for specific projects, to write application sections.
  • Analyze and tune application performance, investigate, analyze, and document reported defects.
  • Create and trace test cases and problem scenarios to locate and maintain sources of problems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation using defined templates.
  • Write detailed operational documentation for users and operators.
  • Consult manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn new development techniques and maintain existing skills and knowledge.

Candidate Requirements :


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
  • High level of Arabic and English interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.

Expérience :

  • At least 10 years of experience in Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server database development tools.

Compétences :

  • Strong understanding of Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS development methodologies and approaches.
  • Proven hands-on technical experience with Oracle & Microsoft SQL Server development tools.
  • Knowledge of core banking systems applications and other ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and modify existing systems.
