Job Description

Responsabilités :

Pre-Contract (Reporting to Project Managers):

  • Ensure full compliance with HSE policies and procedures and adherence to company Business Principles.
  • Support the definition and approval of the contracting strategy and tactics for Surface Facilities.
  • Prepare pre-qualification and call for bid documentation, and specific procedures for Surface Facilities contracts.
  • Coordinate the pre-qualification, call for bid, bidding clarifications, technical and commercial evaluation, and award processes for Surface Facilities contracts.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical evaluation reports and commercial recommendations for award.
  • Liaise with HSE to ensure contract documents contain necessary safety and environmental provisions.
  • Manage risk in the tender process and maintain performance reporting in Contracting and Procurement.
  • Archive and maintain an audit trail of all tender process documentation.

Post-Contract (Reporting to Project Managers):

  • Support Project Managers with claims, change orders, and related documentation.
  • Advise on contractual issues and prepare/validate contractual correspondence.
  • Ensure all contractual certificates, guarantees, bonds, and insurances are in place timely.
  • Liaise with contractors and project Finance for efficient invoicing processes.
  • Maintain an Integrated Master Listing of all contracts and change orders.
  • Input all necessary contractual data into the ERP system.
  • Ensure best practices are reflected in processes, systems, and procedures.
Exigences du Candidat :
  • Éducation Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Petroleum, or Chemical), Quantity Surveying, Finance, Accounting, Law, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Expérience : Minimum of 12 years in the wellsite, onshore CPF, Oil and Gas industry, with major contracts (EPC) preparation, negotiation, and administration knowledge. Experience in field development phases (Conceptual, FEED, EPCI) in desert environments.
  • Compétences :
    • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
    • Ability to work in multicultural teams.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Systematic thinking and proactive working style.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.
    • Excellent written English; proficiency in French is highly valued.
    • Ability to travel to field sites for short business missions.
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Recognised licensed Engineer.
