Job Description

Responsabilités :

  • Act as the senior representative on-site, managing the execution of small to medium-sized projects in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Ensure the approved Manpower Plan is staffed and managed, overseeing a Site Training Roster, and recommending high-performing individuals for further training and development in cooperation with Field Services leadership.
  • Align the goals, objectives, KPIs, and responsibilities of the company and subcontractor site teams with the project’s objectives regarding HSSE, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Review and assess team member performance during project execution, prioritize organizational talent development, provide performance feedback, and serve as a coach and mentor for high-potential construction personnel.
  • Implement approved HSSE policies to ensure high safety standards and compliance, maintaining all HSSE records for the projects.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and participate in at least one client satisfaction survey per year.
  • Enforce the strict implementation of the Quality Management System to perform QC monitoring during and after task execution to prevent rework.
  • Detect and manage early any contractual, legal, scope clarification, or invoice matters that might impact the project.
  • Drive the project’s L4 construction schedule and 3WLA schedules, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting systems are in place. Develop recovery schedules when progress falls behind.
  • Conduct monthly and weekly progress meetings, provide input to weekly/monthly progress reports, and hold other ad hoc meetings as necessary.
  • Implement a complete turnover system with the assistance of the Turnover & Commissioning Manager, and collaborate closely with the PC&TO Manager on start-up priorities. Responsible for the construction part of the close-out report.
  • Efficiently handle Field Engineering Department matters, including reviewing and replying to RFIs, technical queries, and other engineering issues.
  • Generate a Site Risk Register, identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure regular risk management meetings (at least quarterly or as required).
  • Manage all procurement aspects, including ROS dates vs. ETA dates, long lead items, vendor schedules, vendor presence on-site, and general procurement reporting.

Exigences du Candidat :

  • Éducation
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction/Engineering preferred.
    • State engineer diploma or equivalent in any engineering discipline.
  • Global Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in construction.
    • 5+ years of experience in field positions.
  • Specific Experience:
    • Over 10 years of strong experience in industrial or petrochemical construction engineering and management.
    • A minimum of 5 years in leadership and management roles in the field.
    • Experience in various construction fields and working on different types of projects is essential.
