A post-graduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Health, and Safety or related fields at Master-level ( BAC + 5)mastering health and safety issues at site
Broad understanding of international best practices in the environmental and social management of Linear Project and the control of risks and mitigation measures for environmental, social, health and security aspects
relevant experience related to the present program, including the execution of work in developing countries (preferably in West Africa) and in the building sector and minimum in three similar projects over the last five years
At least 10 years of relevant experience in site-based environmental monitoring including the ecological and biological protection of natural environments, management of biodiversity and management of wastes and contaminated soils in site situation, in the coordination of initial environmental studies carried out by a multidisciplinary team integrating gender aspects.
Experience in applying the IFC and/or World Bank Performance Standards and/or Equator Principles in low-income developing countries.
Experience in integrating gender concerns into an infrastructure project would be an asset
