Job Description

Job role: - Technical support for network outages, ensuring clear communication to all parties, acting as the control point for management & L3 escalation. - To ensure the network Elements are optimized and running at customer agreed performance targets. Tasks: -Responsible for 2nd level support on all escalated incidents by analyzing faults, troubleshooting, researching existing knowledgebase articles/known issues and responsible for initiating and managing escalation to vendor L3 support. - Review cases for technical complexity and make recommendations to team members with regards escalation according to MS best practices and in accordance to agreed SLA. - Create and maintain technical documentation, develop processes and procedures, and actively review current SOPs and documentation for areas of improvement - Perform reimaging, rapid refresh and deployment of hardware and virtual machines - Manage access controls of test systems, development systems, VPN, and services level - Provide support for systems administration tasks such as patching, updating equipment, maintaining network infrastructure, provisioning and supporting platform - Maintain inventory of hardware, software, licenses, and handed over Network Elements and Test bed equipment - Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment Skills and Requirement: 5 years and above experience in the domain of IN Support Minimum 2 Years of Experience on IN Support in GSMR Network Technical Mandatory Skills: Must have hands on experience on SIGTRAN/ IP Routing & Switching /NTP/ SNMP/SOAP/ CAMEL/ CAPS/ SS7/ MAPv3/ SMPP/ SMPP/ SINAP /GSMR Call Flows / ETCS L1 & L2/ EIRENE / MORANE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree/Software/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science Language skills: - English language – fluent (excellent verbal and written communication skills) (Arabic is a plus) Interpersonal, communication skills: - Main interfaces for the position: internal employees, Customer,  other associated companies, external 3rd parties - Excellent team player and motivator Other soft skills, competences: - Self-motivated - Highly collaborative - Flexibility to travel - Efficient communication, communication with 3rd parties Hard skills: - MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, Project) – advanced - JNCIA/CCNA and ITIL Foundation certifications are preferred
