The Field Operations Manager is in charge of: ✓ Developing, managing and implementing the Field Operations Execution Plan, including the preparation and execution of the Start-Up, the Operating philosophy and the Operations Readiness Plan and providing inputs for the development of the Field Operations Management System; ✓ Managing the preparation, technical definition, organization and implementation of the Start-up, including all required specifications, plans, programs, procedures, etc; ✓ Representing the Corporate Operations Dept within the Project team and ensuring the readiness of Operations & Maintenance for the receipt and start-up of the Plant; ✓ Defining, placing and managing the Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contract (MIEC); ✓ Providing overall direction in the planning, organising, management and control of start-up activities; ✓ Ensuring that all engineering and development works are developed in such a manner that all future operations will be performed in a safe, environment friendly and cost effective manner and that production installations will be operable, maintainable and reliable, if required with cost-benefit assessment for management decision; ✓ Participating to the development and implementation of the H3SE culture among the Project; ✓ Maintaining open relationships with, and early involvement with, Construction group and Commissioning group to ensure smooth and timely Start-up of the Facilities, as per requirements from Operations dept; ✓ Defining the appropriate organization and identifying and managing the Field Operations group, and define and setup (upon approval) the adequate organization for Start-up and Operations of the Facilities; ✓ Supporting the Project Manager in organization of Start-Up and Operations,
Qualifications / Experience required Engineering Degree with 15 years’ experience in major oil&gas onshore projects, with at least 10 years’ experience in Plant operation positions for a major Operator and one experience as Operation Manager of a 1B$+ Facility. Experience in challenging areas (remote, security, logistics) and in joint-venture is required. Language: Fluent English (working language), Arabic would be a plus.
